Logging in to eTutoring

You will log into eTutoring using the information below. The first time you log in, it will prompt you to change your password from the default password, which we strongly suggest that you do.

  • Username: your ctcLink ID number (9 digits)
    • Example Username: 123456789
  • Default password: your ctcLink ID number (9 digits)
    • Example Password: 123456789
NOTE: If you receive the message “Your username and/or password is incorrect” while trying to log in, first, try logging in again, being especially careful about how you have typed your username and password to avoid typos. If you receive that message again, then try to reset your password by clicking “Forgot password." For the email address, you will input the email address you set as preferred in your ctcLink account. For some of you, this may be a personal email address; for others, you may have set your @edmail.edcc.edu email address.

After you’ve filled out the “Forgot Password” form, please check your email inbox for an email from eTutoringOnline.  If you don’t see an email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. Follow the directions in the email to make a new password.

Still can't log in? Please contact Jeremiah Roland, the Director of the Learning Support Center, at jeremiah.roland@edmonds.edu. In your email, include your name and the last 4 digits of your ctcLink ID number—once your login problems are fixed, you will receive an email letting you know you can access the system.

eTutoring Services

You can get assistance from tutors in three different ways:

  • The Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive your work back with a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
  • Live Tutoring allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual environment.
  • eQuestions allows you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner).

How to Use eTutoring

If you choose Live Tutoring, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online.  Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with.  Note that you must allow pop-ups for the Zoom Room to open.

If a tutor isn’t available for Live Tutoring, you can leave a message using eQuestions.

The Weekly Tutor Schedules are available in the lower left side of the welcome page.

We look forward to working with you and hope you will take advantage of the online tutoring resources offered by eTutoring!
