A number of Washington Community Colleges and Washington State University campus are partnering with The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium to provide online tutoring assistance to students through eTutoring. All South Seattle College students will have access to eTutoring’s free online professional tutoring services in the following areas:
Anatomy & Physiology
Computer Science (Java & C++ only)
Math (Developmental through Calculus)
Web Development (HTML, CSS, and WordPress)
Online Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive your work back with a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
Live Tutoring via eChat allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for Accounting, Calculus, Math, and Statistics.
Offline eQuestionsallows you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner). eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
Steps to log in to E-tutoring:
Go to the Etutoring.org login page
Log in using your MySeattleColleges login. For example,John.Smith@seattlecolleges.edu, use John.Smith
Your password is set to a default, "South50" which you will need to change after your first log in
