Some Helpful Information about eTutoringOnline:
Peninsula College and other Washington Community Colleges are partnering with The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium to provide online tutoring assistance to students through eTutoring. All Peninsula students will have access to eTutoring’s free, online, professional tutoring services in the following areas:
Anatomy & Physiology
Computer Science (Java & C++ only)
Math (Developmental through Calculus)
Web Development (HTML, CSS, and WordPress)
The Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours. Be certain to allow extra time for high demand periods, such as near mid-terms and finals.
Live Tutoring via Zoom allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered in Accounting, Calculus, Math, and Statistics.
eQuestions allows you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner). eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
If you choose Live Tutoring, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with.
If a tutor isn’t available for Live Tutoring, you can leave a question for a tutor using eQuestions.
The Weekly Tutor are available in the lower right-hand side of the welcome page.
If you need technical assistance for anything besides password or login help, please click on the "Support" link in the upper right corner of your screen.
