Welcome to eTutoring at Eastern Oregon University
Use the first part of your EOU e-mail address as your username. For example, if your e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org, then your username is student.
The default password is Tutoring. The password is case-sensitive. You should change this once you have successfully logged in.
Here's an example of what the student above would type in the first time:

If you have trouble logging in or forgot your password, please click Forgot your password? and fill out the form. Make sure to enter your @eou.edu email address into the form.
For log-in assistance, please contact the EOU eTutoring coordinator at email@example.com, or leave a message with an office assistant at (541) 962-3663, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All currently enrolled EOU students have access to online tutoring support in the following subjects:
- American Sign Language
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Chemistry (Organic)
- Computer Network Administration
- Computer Science (Java & C++ only)
- Intro to Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical only)
- Intro to Psychology
- Math (Developmental through Trigonometry)
- Microsoft Office
- Web Development (HTML, CSS, and WordPress)
- Writing (Live via Zoom and asynchronously via the Writing Lab) -- Graduate student submissions accepted!
Live tutoring via Zoom allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for all subjects, including writing.
eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours. eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
The Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive your work back with a tutor's response within 24-48 hours. For a short video on how to use the Writing Lab, click here.
Navigating the Welcome Page
When you choose Live Tutoring, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to "chat" with. If a tutor isn't available for Live tutoring, you can leave the tutors an eQuestion.
