Fall eTutoring at Owens Community College is offered September 3, 2019 - December 6, 2019
Owens Community College is a partner in the Ohio eTutoring Collaborative and OhioLINK, enabling us to provide online tutoring support for all of our students. Students have ongoing access to online professional tutoring services in the following areas:
Anatomy and Physiology
Computer Programing 1 & 2
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word
Log in and have immediate access to eTutoringOnline Resources:
To log-in for the first time, you will need to create an account.
1. Click the "Need an account" link on the left side of this page.
2. Enter the following information: First, Middle, and Last Name & Your school email address
3. Your username will be your email address MINUS the @ and what follows.
4. Create your own password. It must be 6 characters long.
The Online Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
Live Tutoring allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy, Math, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Statistics.
Theoffline eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours. eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
If you choose a LIVE session, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with. Note that your browser, Mozilla Firefox preferred, AND must be set to allow pop-ups in order for LIVE sessions to work.
If a tutor isn’t available for a LIVE session, you can leave the tutors an eQuestion.

eTutoringOnline is made possible through the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s OhioLINK division. There is no cost for this service to institutions or students currently enrolled at one of the participating schools.
