Fall eTutoring runs from August 26, 2019 – December 6, 2019
Welcome
The Ohio State University at Newark is a partner in the Ohio eTutoring Collaborative, enabling us to provide online tutoring support for all of our students. Students have ongoing access to online professional tutoring services in the following areas:
- Writing
- Math (from the developmental level through Calculus II)
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Astronomy
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Statistics

Username: lastname.number (i.e., smith.321, same as provided for your college email address)
Password: ********** (your preference)

Student Evaluation of Services
Approximately 48 hours after you use an eTutoringOnline tool, you will be sent a very brief survey link via email. We ask that you complete this brief survey so we can better serve your needs.
eTutoring Services
The Online Writing Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.
Live Tutoring allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered for Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy, Math, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Statistics.
The offline eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours. eQuestions may be submitted for any of the subject areas covered.
Please Note:
If you choose a LIVE session, colored tutor icons will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with. Note that your browser, Mozilla Firefox preferred, must be set to allow pop-ups in order for LIVE sessions to work.
If a tutor isn’t available for a LIVE session, you can leave the tutors an eQuestion.
